The conference aims to deepen knowledge of Islamic finance and give new impetus to the development of partnership financing in Russia and CIS. The focus is on three key topics: the first results of the work of the First AAOIFI Representative Center in the CIS (Kazan), prospects for the development of Islamic finance in the CIS area, as well as the introduction of sukuk as an effective instrument of state and public finances. A special interest is the free educational Workshop, which will take place as part of the conference on May 13 at Kazan Expo. A leading expert in Islamic finance will introduce participants to practical aspects of the work: from the conceptual framework of sukuk to specific requirements for structuring, management and financial reporting in strict compliance with AAOIFI standards. The workshop combines a lecture format, live discussions and a breakdown of a real case.
